Q. Can a higher performance PCI video card be added?
A. There is no space in the Cappuccino for any add-on cards. The built-in video is set for 4MB of RAM in Cappuccino and 64mb for the mocha which are shared from the system memory.

Q. Where can I find a distributor in my area or country? Can I purchase directly from you?
A. The mini book PC is primarily designed to be distributed by the Internet. Therefore you may not see this product in some big retail channels. You can purchase directly from the on-line order page or simply contact our sales office for purchase. The same arrangement is good for international purchase. The shipping weight for the unit is just about 5 pounds.

Q. Will I be able to get a lower processor, less RAM and small hard disk for a low price?
A. All mini book PCs will accept a lower CPU, less RAM and small hard disk. We will do such an arrangement to save you money only for large quantity order.

Q. Can I get the cappuccino PC with no CD-ROM? How much can I save? Will the drive bay covered?
A. Yes. You can save money by ordering cappuccino PC without CD-ROM. The drive bay will be covered by a dummy bay. This option is not available in the Mocha PC

Q. Can the Mini Book PC boot with no keyboard or mouse attached?
A. Yes.

Q. Will the Video-in of the mini book PC give nice DVD movie output?
A. Yes. The Mini Book PC will offer very nice DVD movie output.

Q. How many units are sold worldwide? And how is the response?
A. More than 200,000 units are sold worldwide. We have huge inquiries for such a small form factor PC which is fully functional and compatible to Windows and Linux. We have also received a lot of recommendations and suggestions in R&D.

Q. Do you have a plan on replacing the hard disk with the flash disk yet.
A. Not yet. But it will be considered within the R&D team. It will depend on the capacity and price of flash disks technology.

Q. Can the Mini Book DVD read CD also?
A. Yes, DVD of Cappuccino can be used as CD-ROM.

Q. Is it possible to put a 32MB video card in the Cappuccino PC?
A. Not yet. We are developing a more advance (P4) unit which will have 16MB of RAM on it.

Q. Is it possible to use an external battery power supply?
A. An External battery is under development. The estimated time for availability is Nov. 2002. Please check our website later.

Q. Are there a docking station for the Cappuccino PC?
A. We do not develop any docking station for the Cappuccino PC. However, there are ports replica that will connect the Cappuccino through the USB. They could be purchase anywhere.

Q. Are there Firewire support for the Mini Book PC?
A. Yes. The TX3 and Mocha P4 PC will support Firewire. The Mocha P4 have 2 USB2 ports also.

Q. Can I get a full featured catalog for the Mini Book PC?
A. We have not been printing paper catalog for many years. All information can be found on the web.

Q. Is it possible to upgrade the sound card to a standard Creative Blaster sound card?
A. The Mini Book PC will not accept any add-on cards.

Q. Does the DVD player play discs from everywhere, or is it one of those Region 1 / Region 2 machines?
A. Since it is a PC, the DVD will play movies of all regions.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive the Cappuccino PC after I place an order?
A. Your order will normally be shipped with 2 to 3 days. Depending on where you are located, UPS will take from 1 to 6 days to deliver the merchandise. Please feel free to contact us for the status of your order. A tracking number will be available for you to track your product upon request. Please be sure that you have your order or customer code ready when you contact us.

Q. How much will it cost to ship a Mini Book PC to Europe?
A. For most part of Europe, it will cost about $100 US to ship the Mini Book PC by UPS worldwide express. You can find the exact amount when you checkout from the online order page.

Q. Will the power adapter of the Mini Book PCs work under 220 volts which is very commonly used outside the U.S.?
A. The AC/DC power adapter works under both 110V and 220V . It will switch automatically. You may just need a three prong adapter to make the plug suit the wall jack.
